Photographic Emulsion Mounting on Canvas

UV filters are incorporated into the laminate to inhibit fading, scratch, and moisture protection. To create the rich texture of canvas, the image is made as thin as possible by stripping away all the backing paper. Only the paper's emulsion is bonded to the canvas.

To your benefit, the result is the deepest texture and visual appeal. In the final step, each canvas is carefully stretched by hand, over stretcher bars. This gives the look and feel of a truly exquisite piece of art. You receive each piece ready to frame or frameless presentation. The images will have the longevity to be passed down from generation to generation.

Gallery Wrap

With Gallery Wrap, the full image shows on the front, and bare canvas shows on the side. The staples run along the back of the oversize, hidden from sight.  

Image Wrap

With this process, the actual image is wrapped around the stretcher. The staples are out of sight on the back. Please note that when formatting your image for the printer, 5cm from all four sides of the print will wrap around the edge. Make sure fingers, toes, and heads are at least 5cm away from any outside edge.

As an option on  prints, you or your lab can add 5cm black border or white border around your image, which would wrap around the side similar to an image wrap. This makes for a very clean frameless presentation.
